π THE $59 STR FEE — THE APPROVED JULY 14 MINUTES ARE OUT
The Board approved the July 14 minutes on August 25, and they were posted to the owner portal September 2. They settle what happened to the STR Administrative Fee proposal: no vote was ever taken. In the approved minutes’ words: “After a 5-minute recess Mr. Hazzard ruled the STR Administrative fee proposal out of order on the grounds that a change to the Rules and Regulations could not be completed before the end of this session of the Board which expires July 31, 2026.” Discussion followed on “how or if it should be reinstated.” That leaves the June 9 action as the operative one: the fee was suspended 6–1 pending an impact and financial analysis — an analysis that has never been produced. The fee is not being collected. The same July 14 meeting did complete other substantive business with “immediate effect,” including a new Cash Transfer Authority Policy allowing up to two management-company employees to execute transfers between Association accounts.
